Privacy
The short version: no cookies, no accounts, and the values you convert never leave your browser.

What the converters do with your values
Nothing leaves your device. Every calculation runs in your browser, and the numbers you type are not sent to a server, logged or stored.
Analytics
HowToConvert counts visits with Plausible Analytics, running on a server I operate. Plausible does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. It records the page viewed, the referring site, the browser, operating system, device type and the country derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
The figures are only ever looked at in aggregate, to see which pages people use and which need work.
Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no advertising and no third-party tracking.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel and passes through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they process your IP address and request details to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse, under their own privacy policies.
If you email [email protected], I receive your address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. Messages are not shared or added to any mailing list.
